Now that I've read through The Red Door IV---titled: The Demon Series IV, Possession: The Rise of Edward Starke---I think I am FINALLY ready to edit.
I expected to have the editing done by now, but every time I read it through I found another plot hole. I think I've read it somewhere from ten to fifteen times, and the last read through I didn't see anything. I hope I caught them all. If not, I hope my betas will sniff them out.
I'll dive into edits full bore tomorrow. I should definitely have the hard edits done by next week. Then I can dive into The Demon Series Part V, Ascension: The Chosen One.
I'm thrilled to be able to offer this five part series, spanning from 1962 to 2235.

The Red Door Series and Other Projects
An update on projects...
I've recently written three more installments to The Red Door series, each one taking the reader in a different direction.
I've already done a hard edit on part three, and I am now working on editing part four. I hope to have them done fairly soon.
I have two more stories, already written and edited, that I would like to turn into series as well. As I can write each installment in a week or less, if not interrupted, and the muse continues to cooperate, it shouldn't take me long to have them done as well.
Then I want to focus my attention on my 100+K paranormal, new adult novel. After that, I would like to finish up a horror/thriller, 30K in, and then hopefully flesh out a medieval fantasy I've been meaning to get to for some time now.
Here's hoping the muse keeps alive and well.

Update On My Latest Projects
Three of my horror/paranormal short stories' contracts have been returned to me, Laura, The Visitor's Room, and The Fifth Floor.
I will be going over them and giving them a polish and will be re-releasing them under another publisher.
I have about 20 projects lined up, under E. H. James, from short stories, to novelettes, to one hundred thousand word new adult, paranormal novels, and straight horror novels.
I am working on my writing daily, and hope to complete these as soon as possible.
Right now I am just finishing up the edits on a twenty-one thousand word horror/paranormal novelette. I have the outline for a second installment, and see this as an open ended series, only limited by my imagination.
I have another series involving a hunter and a morphing creature who are working together to bring down any who are not willing to follow the rules. I have the first installment completed, and outlines for a prequel, and two sequels. I too see this as an open ended series.
I have outlined two more installments for The Red Door series, to complete the story in four parts. The third part takes place a few years after Beyond the Red Door, and the fourth part takes place approximately thirty years after that. So this series will span about 80 years, starting from the early '60s.
I am in the process of doing a final edit of my one hundred thousand word new adult novel, and have another horror novel about thirty thousand words in.
The problem with having a lot of ideas is...which do I work on next?
